BATOPARROT ADD ON PACK- The Batocera PC Build Games Add-on - Arcade Punks (2024)

Youtuber sleyk esrun returns with the BatoParrot Games add-on pack – This is over 80 games to add-on to his recent BatoParrot build – now if you only installed it to a 1tb drive, you are going to need to FTP/SSH in and remove lots of other games if you want your BatoParrot menu to be fully loaded (or do what we did and install to a 2tb!)

BATOPARROT ADD ON PACK- The Batocera PC Build Games Add-on - Arcade Punks (1)

NOTES FROM THE AUTHOR

1. Action Henk – working! No issues. Boots natively with minor tweaks to proton wine prefix prior to compressing and packing
to wsquashfs game rom.
2. Akai Katana Shin – working! I pre-set the settings for you, but if it doesnÕt boot to the title screen, it may look like it
hasnÕt launched. But its ok! You just need a keyboard. Just wait about 10 seconds, and then hit Enter on your keyboard, or
A on your Controller. It should go to the initial screen and ask you what language you prefer. Set your language and then
watch as this beautiful game loads.
3. America’s Army – Working! Training mode is working well and has a ton of missions. Not sure how to get connected to
steam though. Anyways, thereÕs tons of training missions in the game to keep you busy for a while. If you like, you can
maybe install Steam through flatpack and login to your account and connect to the steam servers. Also, donÕt worry about
piracy. This game is completely free to play on Steam.
4. Arcana Heart Love Max 3: Six Stars!!!!!! – Working but crashes at initial load screen unless you skip the opening video. I
chose not to disable it, since you can easily get past it. Just hit any button after you see the “Team Arcana” loading screen
to bypass the opening movie until a fix is available.
5. Batman Arcade – working! Boots in about 10 seconds. Controls work great. Currently, there is a white HUD issue that IÕm
trying to solve in the game. It appears after the first level of gameplay that covers the majority of the screen real estate.
ItÕs super distracting and renders the game somewhat unplayable. As soon as I find a fix for it, will upload. However, the
game is playable as it stands for now.
6. Battle Fantasia – working! Same issue as Arcana Heart Love Max. It may crash when viewing the opening movie like Arcana
Heart 3 Love Max Six Stars. Just skip opening movie by pressing A when you see the “Arc System Works” loading screen.
7. Big Buck Hunter Arcade – working! Needs mouse to play, or you can configure a lightgun to play. Batocera is plug and play
for lightguns now, so just connect one and ensure it’s working before launching game, and it should be visible to the game
and let you navigate with it.
8. Blade Arcus From Shining – working! With no issues. Awesome game.
9. Blade strangers – working! Can sometimes crash after story mode. It happened once or twice during my testing, but IÕve
been playing it since adding all tweaks and dependencies, and havenÕt had any issues. Alot of these games are highly
dependent on their individual dependencies within their wine prefixes.
10. Blazing angels – working! Fixed resolution issue. Now game loads in full HD/1920×1080 resolution. To play, just create an
in-game profile and name it whatever you like, and then map your buttons to your controller before heading into the game’s
story mode, or else you might not have any controls in-game.
11. Blazblue calamity trigger – working! – has specific dependencies that these Arc system works games need. Works well
though. I left the movies in, but if they drag or play sluggishly, just press A to skip.
12. Blazblue chronophantasma – working! – has specific dependencies that these Arc system works games need. Works well
though. I left the movies in, but if they drag or play sluggishly, just press A to skip.
13. Blazblue continuum shift – working! – has specific dependencies that these Arc system works games need. Works well
though. I left the movies in, but if they drag or play sluggishly, just press A to skip.
14. Blazblue Central Fiction – working! – has specific dependencies that these Arc system works games need. Works well
though. I left the movies in, but if they drag or play sluggishly, just press A to skip.
15. Blazblue Cross tag battle – working! – has specific dependencies that these Arc system works games need. Works well
though. I left the movies in, but if they drag or play sluggishly, just press A to skip.
16. Capcom fighting collection – working! Will have all your other fighting games from teknoparrotÕs round-up, including
Vampire Saviors and Super Gem Fighter, along with Hyper Street Fighter 2. This collection is also good, because it also has
other beloved old-school fighters like Darkstalkers and Red Earth which is not currently found or part of the teknoparrot
lineup, so there you go…
17. Chaos code new sign of catastrophe – working! Same thing as mostly all the other anime-based fighters. Had to disable
the opening movie. These games used old .wmv files that Batocera simply does not like to play, no matter what tweaks you
apply. The newer games are much better with this. You can fuss over installing the right winetrick, and using different
versions of Wine, but at the end of the day, you just need to get to the game. You can always watch the movie(s) later.
18. Cotton rockÕnÕroll – Working! Super fun game. (IÕm a fan of Cotton from Sega Saturn days)
19. Caladrius Blaze – working! This version has AC (Arcade Mode) and a new upgraded mode. This version is essentially better
than the teknoparrot version. YouÕre welcome.
20. Contra Anniversary Collection – working! Press Alt+Enter to make game Fullscreen. Also, no universal settings. Must select
game first, then press the third button on the controller to bring up the settings menu for that game. You can set your
preference for screen with scanlines or if you want a full stretched 16:9 screen. I personally prefer the second
background, with either pixel perfect, or Original. Up to you to choose what you like.
21. Disney PixarÕs Cars – working! Choose the best resolution for your monitor, not what you think is the highest. I have a 4k
screen, and 1280×720 ended up being the best resolution, even over 1600×800. The screen was full and clear, while
1600×800 made the screen look stretched and blurry.
22. Darius burst chronicle Saviors – working! Be careful when you go to the controls setting, as it may lock you in there, and
you might need to force exit the game to get out. Besides this, the game works very well.
23. Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade – working! With no issues. Press Alt+Enter to make it fullscreen and remove the
windowed display. Press Alt+Enter again to bring it back to Windowed mode.
24. Deathsmiles I and II – working! With no issues.
25. Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition – working! this is the awesome fan version. Works smoothly in Wine. For the initial
setup, I set the screen to Fullscreen, and set the resolution to 1080p. Most people will game at this resolution or lower. I
also set the loader to allow Direct Input, so your Keyboard will work. You can also go into the game folder, and set the
controls for your controller by running the “JConfigFC.exe” application. If using a Keyboard, press the number 5 to add a
credit (Its loaded with 7 credits already to start) and press number 1 to start the game.
26. Do Not Fall Run For Your Drink – working! Fixed resolution settings. Game now boots in Full HD/1920×1080.
27. DoDonPachi Resurrection – working! With no issues. One of my favorite CAVE games. This version has tons of modes!
28. Dual Souls – working! With no issues. Nice fighting game. The specials are crazy.
29. Exception – working! With no issues. Super fun game by the way.
30. Goonya fighter – working! With no issues.
31. Granblue Fantasy versus – working, but takes forever (about 3-5 minutes) to get past the “Connecting to Server” screen
before loading the game. Once past this however, the game runs perfectly and smooth. It’s a known problem with the
game. The devs should hopefully fix this in the future.
32. GRID – working! Apply the same concept as what I recommended for Disney Pixar Õs Cars. Choose the best resolution for
your monitor, not what you think is the highest resolution.
33. GRID 2 – working! Adjust your settings for the best experience. I adjusted it for 1080p, but change this to suit your
monitorÕs resolution.
34. Guilty gear strive – working! With no issues. Launches smoothly. Awesome fighting game. Top tier peak fighting game even.
35. Guilty gear Xrd revelator – working! Required specific dependencies. Was a pain in the ass to get working, but works
perfectly now. Also, I applied the REV2 update to this game as well. So if you want to launch Guilty Gear Xrd REV2 from
within this game, you can, without exiting and going back to the game menu to select REV2. I also have that installed as
well, so you can choose what you like.
36. Guilty gear Xrd REV 2 – working! Required specific dependencies. Was a pain in the ass to get working, but works now.
37. Guilty gear Xrd sign – working! Required specific dependencies. Was a pain in the ass to get working, but works now.
38. Guilty gear XX Accent Core Plus R – working! Opening movie may or may not be sluggish for you. If it is, just skip it by
pressing A or Accept to move past it.
39. Hot Wheels Unleashed – working! With no issues.
40. Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged – working! Very minor lighting and menu issues, but otherwise plays great.
41. JoJo’s bizarre adventure all-star – works! With no issues. Awesome looking game with sweet artwork.
42. Koihime Enbu – working! With no issues. IÕm not a fan of all the LoliÕs though.
43. Koihime Enbu Ryo RaiRai – working! With no issues. Those waifuÕs need some meat on their bones…
44. Meatgrinder – working! Needs mouse to navigate initially, then set your button controls on your controller and play from
there. Awesome game. This should definitely get a nice separate Arcade release in my opinion. Looking at you, Adrenaline
Amusem*nts, or perhaps RAW Thrills can do this…
45. Melty Blood actress again current code – working! Once again, I had to disable the Opening video/movie. The game
crashes like a beast when you leave it in. Wine simply doesnÕt play these old video game movies well. Many of these types of
games work for Proton/Wine, but the video playback issue is a hot mess, and often the reason why these games donÕt load.
46. Melty Blood type lumina – working! Exact same scenario as Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code. Removed opening
video and game runs perfectly. Will include the movies in the outside of the folder just in case you want to see them. You
can run them on your PC or through Kodi or something.
47. Million Arthur arcana blood – working! With no issues. Cool game. Iori Yagami from KOF is in it.
48. Nickelodeon all-star brawl – working! With no issues.
49. Nickelodeon all-star brawl 2 – working! With no issues.
50. Nitroplus Blasterz Infinite Duel – working! With no issues. Needed certain dependencies, but works flawlessly now. Also,
my kind of game, if you know what I mean, men and brothers of culture.
51. Nosferatu Lilinor – working! Max resolution appears to be 1280×720 only. It works for the game though. ItÕs designed to
look like an old 2D pixel art game, so you can get by with it.
52. Persona 4 Ultimax Ultimate Suplex Hold – working! When the game launches, it might be in a small 800×600 window. Just
scroll to the top with your mouse, and click on the tiny box in the middle to enlarge the screen to Windowed Fullscreen.
The resolution will adjust to make the picture look good. Very playable and works smoothly. To exit the game, just press
escape on your keyboard. This is the Arcade version, so no other options for settings or anything like that beyond the
separate modes of the game, which, for an Arcade game, has quite a lot of included features.
53. Pocket bravery – working! With no issues.
54. Raiden III – working! With no issues.
55. Ride 5 – working! With no issues.
56. Samurai Showdown – working! With no issues.
57. SiN – working! With no issues. Fun game.
58. SkullGirls – working! Had to play around with stuff, but got it to run well. This is the original uncensored version.
59. SkullGirls 2nd encore – working! With no issues. The Uncensored, “before the wokeness started” version. Yeah I said it.
60. SNK Heroines Tag Team – working! With no issues. TerryÕs heroine art is sublime. Total babe.
61. Sonic all-star racing transformed – working! With no issues. Smooth loading and gameplay. Best Kart racer in my opinion.
62. Street fighter 30th anniversary – working! With no issues. Features several Street Fighter games from teknoparrotÕs
roster. I thought it best to include this collection instead of the individual Street Fighter games. Just boot the game and
choose your Street Fighter game. ItÕs an awesome compilation.
63. Street fighter x Tekken – working! With no issues.
64. Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz – working! With no issues. Super fun game.
65. Super street fighter IV Arcade – working! With no issues. Game runs perfectly, unlike what Capcom did to SF5.
66. Tekken 7 – working! With no issues. Actually surprised me how well it ran. Can run on slightly better potato PCÕs.
67. Tetris Effect Connected – working! With no issues. Beautiful, Relaxing game.
68. The Takeover – working! With no issues. On par with Streets of Rage 4 in my humble opinion, and might even look better in
some respects. Adjust controls as preferred in settings.
69. The king of fighters 98 ultimate match final edition – working! With no issues.
70. The king of fighters 2002 unlimited match – working! Ignore windows media player error. Game will still boot.
71. The King of fighters XIII – working! I had to disable the opening movie(s) on this one as well. They are still in the folder.
But honestly, they arenÕt really that important anyway. You can also always go on Youtube or something and play the opening
movies. They basically play like a 1.5 minute series anime opening. Anime fans will know what I mean. You arenÕt missing
anything by not seeing the short opening movie. Trust me. ItÕs the game you want to play anyway.
72. The king of fighters XIV – working! With no issues.
73. The king of fighters XV – working! With no issues.
74. Trouble witches origin episode 1 – works! With no issues. Super fun “Cotton” alternative with enhanced mechanics (Cotton
is also a featured playable character in the game). The game looks very nice as well. This version is better than the
teknoparrot AC version, since it also has other cool features, along with a different playable mode. You now donÕt have to
suck the teknoparrot teat anymore. YouÕre welcome friends.
75. Ultra street fighter IV – working! With no issues.
76. Under night in birth Exe: Late[clr] – working! With no issues.
77. Under night in birth Exe: Late[st] – working! With no issues.
78. Virtua Tennis 3 – working! With no issues.
79. Panzer Dragoon – Working! Remake of Panzer Dragoon Sega Saturn game with updated graphics. Plays well. Better than Air
Twister. Loaded smoothly with zero troubles.
80. Yakuza 6 – working! loads perfectly with very minor tweaks and dependencies. Please read the Special Yakuza 6 notes in
the install folder to see why I included this game in Batoparrot. ItÕs pretty cool actually..

If you try to exit any game, and it crashes or freezes, then Alt + F4 on your keyboard is your best friend. Well, Alt+F4 is your best
friend regardless, because Batocera simply doesnÕt have the capacity to play a ton of PC games well, and you will find yourself using
it a ton of times to exit stubborn game processes. I have done my best to install all dependencies and codecs needed to ensure a
smooth launching and workable experience, but things will possibly still crash.
Use Alt+F4 any time you find yourself stuck in a game, or if the loading screen crashes, etc. It will kill any running game process for
you, and rarely will you have to restart your system after nuking the crashed game. Using Alt+F4 should bring you back to the game
menu, where you can select the next game, or relaunch the same game if you like. Some games are simply stubborn, and so if you
press Alt + F4, and it doesnÕt show anything, just wait about 10 seconds. A small box will pop up on your screen, asking you to end
the game process or cancel. Use the keyboard arrow keys to tab over and hit “End Process” and it should kick you back to the game
menu.
If it still doesnÕt exit the game screen, and it seems like it freezes, donÕt worry. Just press Alt + F4 again, and the small box will
pop up again. This will ask you to straight up “kill” the game process. Do the same thing as before, and select “End Process”. I
guarantee you, this time it will close out. DonÕt forget and get frustrated if a game crashes or freezes when you try to exit! Just
follow what I said here and you will be fine.
